Welcome to my gallery — a collection of photographs inspired by a lifelong passion for authentic landscape photography and the extraordinary beauty of the British countryside.
Based in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, on the North Yorkshire coast, I am ideally placed between Redcar and Whitby. A coastline peppered with sandy beaches and interesting fishing villages. The dramatic landscapes of the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach, offering endless opportunities to explore and photograph.
The Northumberland coast has also been a favourite for many years, with its sweeping beaches, rugged coastline and impressive collection of castles. More recently, I’ve found fresh inspiration along the North Norfolk coast, adding a new dimension to my journey through coastal photography.
And then there’s the lure of north-west Scotland — particularly the Isle of Skye. It’s a long journey from North Yorkshire, but one that is always worth making. Around every bend, there’s another river, loch or mountain range waiting to be discovered and captured.
But this collection is about more than the places I’ve travelled to. Each photograph is part of a creative journey — moments of light, landscape and atmosphere captured through my lens along the way.
